Tamim’s Journey in Social Work & Global Charity Initiatives

Tamim with Parbo

I initiated Parbo Foundation in 2011 with this belief: real happiness does not come from earning money; rather, it lies in using what we earn to lift up others. What started as a small youth-led initiative has grown into a nonprofit that works to support underprivileged communities across Bangladesh through food distribution, medical assistance, education programs, winter clothing drives, and emergency relief.
These years have turned Parbo Foundation into a place where young volunteers learn compassion, leadership, and the power of giving. This work is very personal to me. Every meal served, every child supported in school, and every family helped during crisis reminds me why generosity matters. We earn to live, but we live fully when we share.
My mission is to encourage more people, especially the next generation, to give a small part of their earnings for charity and experience the unmatched joy of helping someone in need. Through Parbo, we hope to build a kinder, more caring Bangladesh, one act of giving at a time.
